M.Plan International Names New Managing Director

M.Plan International Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of David Anonychuk, B.Eng., MBA, as Managing Director. Dr. Reiner Haus and Jane Spooner remain in the positions of Co-Chairmen and Directors. Mr. Anonychuk follows Mr. Aron Cleugh who has resigned as the Managing Director.  The Directors appreciate Aron’s contribution to the development of M.Plan during his tenure and extend their good wishes for the future.

David Anonychuk joins M.Plan from technology company, Aereus Technologies Inc. He has nearly 25 years of international mining and metallurgical experience, working in operational, management and marketing positions at mine sites, smelters and the offshore offices of major metals producers and industrial groups (Glencore, Xstrata, Falconbridge, Noranda and Newmont).

This has given him detailed knowledge of specialty metals and minerals, as well as the major base metals, copper and nickel. David has senior management experience with major North American milling, metal smelting and recycling operations. Internationally, he has been involved in a number business development and commercial projects, including molybdenum and rhenium. He has conducted detailed assessments of cobalt mining in the DRC, and the processing supply chain.

David graduated with a Metallurgical Engineering degree from McGill University and has an MBA (Finance Specialization) from Queen’s University. He has received a leadership award Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and is a former President of the Canadian Copper & Brass Development Association.

M.Plan was founded in 2015 as a joint venture between Dorfner ANZAPLAN of Hirschau, Germany and Micon International Limited of Toronto, Canada to provide integrated services to the specialty minerals and metals sector. Due diligence reviews, preliminary economic assessments, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies are generated to meet the requirements of international securities regulations such as NI 43-101 and JORC. Based on its cumulative years of experience, an important aspect of M.Plan’s service package is the company’s ability to apply its comprehensive knowledge of product specifications and market applications to its service package.
